Nutritional Counseling

May 22, 2018 by ivet360

Just as with humans, a pet’s nutritional needs change with age, lifestyle, and based on medical conditions. Add to that all the conflicting information about conventional pre-packed kibble, grain-free diets, raw and home-cooked feeding plans and it can be very confusing to figure out what to feed your animal companions.

Your Hometown Veterinary Hospital team has completed the Veterinary Nutritional Advocate training, and we can help you navigate the massive marketing of the pet food industry so you know what’s best for your animal companion.

We also carry several brands of prescription pet food that can be used to help support pets with chronic conditions. For questions about feeding your pet, or to schedule a consultation, call us at 417-208-5491.
